This clock has a beautiful Steeple or Cathedral look wood case on it. The clock was made in the late 1920s by New Haven.
This is the Durham model. The case appears to be made of mahogany. The finials are in place as are the wood legs.
Interesting clock face as looked more like a watch face than the clock faces of those times. The clock face is white with gold hatch marks for the five minute marks and black marks for the minute mark.
The gold hands match and look appropriate to the clock. The bezel is securely attached to the case by the hinge.
The concave glass is intact, no cracking or blistering. Good lucking brass movement in the case. This clock has an 8 day movement. The pendulum that came with it looks appropriate to the clock. The clock comes with a key that will adjust the speed and wind the three springs. The time and strike spring feel sound when keyed. The chimes spring is wound tight.The clock does strike and chime occasionally, but not consistently. The clock stands 11.75" tall, by 9-7/8" across, by 5.25 wide. The clock face is 4-7/8 across.
