The first quarter-hour plays four notes. Eight notes on the half hour.
12 notes on the three-quarter hour, followed by 16 notes of the full Westminster chime sequence at the top of each hour followed by the fifth chime rod to mark the hour. The chimes are resonant and calmly pleasing to the ear... 10 1/2" high x 8 1/2" wide x 6 1/4 deep. With a glass door over the face that measures approx. The cabinet, the glass door, and the face look great. The glass door over the face swings out and clips back in nicely. The metal info-plate, the Key (in key holder) and the "directions" paper are present on the inside of the door on back. The Westminster Chime can be silenced with the Key... Turning the arbor located on the right corner of the clock face..... The "Falsbury" model sticker is on the bottom of clock along with two stamped in serial numbers: 3557 and 35 6. This vintage clock is in good original running condition, and shows expected wooden case wear consistent with age.
