VTG Hamilton 340-020A Mantle Clock, Germany, 2 Jewels, w Franz Hermle Mechanism
Vintage, Rare Hamilton 340-020A Chiming Mantle Clock Made in Germany with a 2 Jewel Franz Hermle Mechanism. There are not very many of these 340-020As out there. Plenty of 340-020s but not these with the A at the end. I'm not positive but it is because this mechanism is made by. The better maker, Franz Hermle, rather than the inferior Hamilton.
This clock is in immaculate condition and has been well kept over the years. VERY clean and it works wonderfully.
It has a small plaque on the top that reads. It measures 14" tall (excluding the brass topper) x 11.5" long x 6.5 wide and weighs 11.5 pounds. Please view photos for more info and condition and always feel free to ask questions.
