Westminster Chime Revere Telechron Mantle Clock - Working Great - Electric. Great Mid Century Mantle clock. I've ran it for over a week and it's lost around a minute.

The chimes are so beautiful each quarter of the hour. When the chimes dong on the hour the hammer doesn't strike the hours as loud as it should.

When I first plugged the clock in it didn't always chime the quarter hours. I switched it off and on and it righted itself well.

Another item of note: sometimes when it chimes the second hand will suddenly drop back 20-30 seconds. Or fall forward 20-30 seconds depending where it is in relation to where gravity wants it to go. This does not affect the time. It may take a minute or two for the second hand to resume normal operation but again, the clock does not lose time due to this.

It keeps right on goin. I will pack it very carefully with lots of padding to protect it as much as possible. Great clock and hopefully it finds a great home!
